Elijah turns 5!

Well my baby is 5. I am ofcourse late posting these shots but he turned 5 on May 28th. We had a small party at home with just us. He didn't want a store bought cake he wanted to make his own chocolate cake and letters so that is what he and I did on his birthday. He is so independent and had to be involved in every step of the cake making process. The reason I put so many up of him putting on the letters because if you speed it up its like one of the drawings that if you flip the edges of the paper real fast it looks really neat. Well that is what I got of him spelling out Happy 5th Birthday Elijah! He was so proud of himself. All he kept talking about was how he wanted to be a cowboy and have his own cowboy hat and guns and hanky around his neck like real cowboys. So we got him that stuff. Nana and Papaw got him his new bike which he said is his horse! Over all we had a good evening and he loved his birthday. Sami, Ethan and Hannah decorated for him and he loved all the attention being on him! They are all gone to work and school so when they come home he wants to play and we made sure they did.
