Happy 12th Birthday Sami (March 30th) I know I am behind!

This is our Sami. Her birthday was on March 30th which happened to land on Sunday. So we woke her up early and gave her all her presents and sang Happy Birthday to her before Church.

Ethan,Hannah and Elijah were more than Happy to jump on her bed and wake her up and give her presents and sing to her. Sami was not so thrilled as you can tell!
This is my beatiuful girl. My big girl. 12 years old! I can't believe it and it makes me kinda sad in a way but also wonderment. This is our first born and she is growing up on us to fast. Time has flown by it feels like. Sami is turning into such a wonderful, kind hearted, giving, young girl. One year till we offically have a teenager in the house. I don't consider her a teen yet even thou a lot of people now do. I can wait till she is 13 to do that! I have a hard enough time realizing she is 12!:)

This is the cake we got Sami. Its a cellphone cake with the bars on it and the can you hear me now theme. Its actually a cupcake cake. Under the tons of frosting are half white, half chocolate cupcakes. You just pull them off! Its the latest fad I guess in birthday cakes! This is a shot of our church member's singing Happy Birthday to Sami. It just so happened that Sami's birthday also landed on our Church's One year anniversary too! So we celebrated with a pot luck at the local fire station and had ton's of fun. Sami and the kids got to do all kinds of games and ride a horse drawn carriage around and eat Dickey's barbque! So good!
This was also Sami's first time babysitting. Now that she is 12 she can work in the nursery at church. All the parents love her and always come to me and tell how good Sami is and wonderful with the babies. They can't get over how mature she is for her age. Sami wants to take the babysitting class and learn CPR and First Aid on base so she can start babysitting for real money. So we are going to do that for her. In the meantime she works at the church nursery and loves it!
