This morning was wonderful. First we got to be part of the Veteran's Day Celebration at Hannah and Elijah's school. Each child had a flag to wave, Hannah as part of the Choir sang a song, the played slideshows, had military memebers sing and it all brought tears to my eyes. It was so wonderful to see the kids waving their flags and celebrating America and our Veteran's. It was even more special when each child stood up and turned toward their parents and thanked them for their service and the parents thanked them for theirs!Then it was off to the High School to See Sami and her friends who made Honor Roll get their awards. They are a great bunch of kids. They all made everyone move to make space for Chris and I to sit right in the middle of them. Many of the girls and even some of Sami's friends that are boys came and gave us hugs. Its so great to know most of these kids as we have been to the school so much for the games and got to know many of them. Ethan missed Honor Roll by 2 pts. and he was upset about it, but I told him there is next report card. Hannah and Elijah also made Honor Roll in their schools but got their awards in class. We are very proud of The Final Four. Through it all, I can look at my kids and know if there is one thing Chris and I do right is that we are raising some really great kids and that as a parent is the highest reward.
