Its really hard to see how bad the streets were flooded with these pictures. However, It was past my ankles if that helps. Not nearly as bad as the mid west was hit but pretty bad. The water is brown because they are still building houses in our area and there are dirt piles and so on all over. The rain came down so fast that this is what it looked like within 30 min. However, I am happy its raining. We are so in need of the rain because we are in a severe drought. They actually lifted the burn ban for ONLY TODAY! I find that funny. Why do it at all? You also can see sort of the neighborhood we live in. I took all pictures from our upper deck. We are under another flash flood warning right now and to be honest it has cooled us down a bit. Its very humid with all the rain but much needed.
