We decided to have Elijah's Birthday Party Early this year. Why? Well because the past 2 years only like 1 kid has shown up because his bday always lands on Memorial Weekend being its actually May 28th. Well, we had his bday party yesterday afternoon here at home because that is what he wanted. A jumpy castle and water sprinklers and just his friends. Again only 1 kids showed up! He was a first a little disappointed but he still is so gracious and said " mom, its still the best birthday ever!" I just love him! Chris rented the castle and got it all set up and we docorated the inside of the house etc.... He had a power rangers birthday but we couldn't find a Power rangers cake anymore, so ofcourse his new thing is The Advengers... Action Hero's! So he got a Advengers Cake and toys! Sami invited a couple of her friends over to sing Happy Birthday to him also which was super sweet and then she babysat a little girl and brought her over to jump in the castle also. He seems like one happy 9 year old boy! As he says Next year we got to do his party at the 1st of May so maybe everyone will come to his 10th birthday! I say that is a plan!
