Sami made her high school JV Girls Basketball Team! She wanted to keep her number from volleyball #8 but got #30 instead. Oh well! Anyway, yesterday was her first game. She played against Brooks Academy and they lost but for their first game they did pretty well. She played Point and loved it. She got right in there and they went at it. She was surprised at how more aggressive the game is to say the least. Lots of fouls and elbows and jump balls which she got! She loved that part of it. Today she has a away game 2 hours away and still had to get up early for a 10am game but she was up and ready to go. We are very proud of her and its so much fun to see these older kids play. They are very competitive to say the least. Ethan, Hannah and Elijah are also going to be starting basketball this month. Should be a fun Basketball season for The Final Four. Her first home game is on the 30th and I can't wait. I love the atmosphere of the home games with all the kids there and parents cheering on the teams.
