These are just a couple of shots of Grandma picking and walking the kids home from school. Of course as you can sort of see in the pictures it was getting ready to pour down rain AGAIN!!! No, really we need the rain and Grandma sure brought it with her when she came for a visit! The kids loved that she came to get them from school and got to meet their teachers and see were they go to school at. Grandma even got to go to Hannah's class orientation. She was very impressed with the school and of course with her smart grandchildren!!!! (no bias there at all:)
Of course as with all visits they must come to a end and Grandma Kathy went home today. Elijah did not handle this well as he doesn't handle anyone who visits and leaves well. He was crying all evening at soccer practice and in the shower and even in bed. Grandma was even brought to tears. Elijah loves everyone and hates to see them go and its a sweet thing. Of course Chris and I have to deal with it for the next couple of days till he is adjusted again but overall he woke up this morning for school seen she was not in her room and began to cry again. The poor guy. He told me that he told his teacher she was gone and that he cried at school for her and his teacher gave him a hug. How sweet is that. Anyway, we had a great visit with Grandma and it went by way to fast. The kids carried on the tradition of making brownies with her and she was of great help to Chris and I while she was here.
