Ok, school has started. One week down and a whole school year to go. Now we have also started the Fall Soccer Season again. All 4 are playing on different teams, Go figure! Ethan was going to play football this year but the base only goes to age 10 and he turned 11 and missed it and had to go back to soccer.
They are loving running around and getting out of the house and back to playing soccer. Soccer is a big deal with our kids. They have all been raised since young ages on the soccer fields.
Hannah and Elijah had been complaining that Chris had never coached their teams so this year he is Hannah's Head Coach and Elijah's assistant coach. Lets just say he is busy! I can't wait for the season to start. I am one of those mom's on game days that jump from field to field cheering on my kids and yelling from the sidelines jumping up and down and I can't wait for the season to start for them all. Ethan and Sami's leagues are very competitive this year with the kids being older. Sami is 1 out of 2 girls on her whole soccer team. Ethan is pretty much taller than all the kids on his and so is Hannah. Elijah is like the 2nd tallest on his team. Its kinda strange actually. We even got asked by a parent if we were trying to sneak our kids onto younger teams meaning Hannah and Elijah. Ummm, no they are 7 and 6 years old. I mean Hannah will be 8 in September but still, they are on the right teams. Oh well. I think they were more complaining because they were out there making goals and maybe we think this parent didn't like that. Who knows more to the point, who cares!!!
When the first games come, I will be sure to post pictures of the kids in their uniforms and playing their first games. I can't wait. It should be a fun season!
