This was our last night in Corpus Christi and well, we had been promising the kids to make smores. The hotel had a bar b que pit and we used it to grill burgers and hotdogs etc.... then finally we started it up after showers and pj's and took the kids out there to have smores. They all ate a couple and then decided to play night tag!!! So the parents ended up eating more! Just what we needed. It was a great end to a great couple of days on the beach in Corpus Christi on Padre Island. Perfect! We will take the kids back and that is a promise. Its well worth it and so much fun and true family time to spend together. Next time thou we will know the ends and outs and were to go and bring the coolers of drinks and snacks with us. It will be perfect. We had the best time. Tomorrow Monday Team Cooper goes home and my kids are not happy. They just asked me " Now what are we going to do this summer?" Yeah, sorry kiddo's it stinks but we will see them again soon I promise!
