So the storm came on quickly I guess. It stemmed from the OK City Tornado's today. Well we got hit and hit hard and fast. The winds hit about 60 miles an hour and all of sudden it started with pea sized hail and just kept getting larger and larger. Our trucks took a beating let me tell ya. Our yard looked like it was covered in snow and as did our trampoline. As you can see in the dark one that is how fast and hard the large hail was coming down on the trampoline. Our front porch was covered. not a bare area in site. We couldn't get over how big the hail was and how hard and fast it was coming down then overcourse the lighting and thunder show was ofcourse pretty and load too. We got a ton of rain in one big splash down and then it was gone and moving on. It was a quick moving storm to say the least. Sami and Ethan thought it was cool and hoped it lasted all night so they had no school tomorrow. Fat chance of that happening. Chris and I are suppose to take 22 Kindergartener to the Rodeo tomorrow!!! Yes, we were one of those parents who had not done a field trip yet and got nabbed for it. So we will go with Elijah and his class tommorrow all day mind you to the rodeo and stock shows. Elijah again, is going to be all cowboyed up. The child is sleeping with his cowboy hat on and boots so he can be ready to go in the morning I kid you not. He is serious about being a cowboy. I am just enjoying the innocense of it all. I love watching young minds work. Anyway, thought I would share on our huge blow thru town storm.
