Quick update

I haven't updated on my trip to go see Jody because we were not able to connect. I have been getting emails asking how my trip went. First off, I fell down the stairs the night before and hurt my back. New slippers and carpet in the dark can do that to you! So Chris was going to take me and the kids but Jody ended up really busy with the court case she was involved in and recommended we not come because of the situation going on there so she could give her full attention where she was needed most. I am glad she went and was a help to her friend who needed her. We wish we could have seen her. My kids were devasted that we couldn't see them. Sami asked her if she would come to our house and then monday morning was in tears because she couldn't see her, and Elijah came home from school like "Ok, lets go get Aunt Jody and bring her home now!" My poor kids miss her and haven't seen them in almost 4 years. So Jody and I are trying our best to work out a good time to get together. Everytime we try something comes up and it falls thru. So pray for us that God gives us a good time to get together soon. We would sure like that!
