Our Christmas Eve PJ Openings and setting up for Santa's Arrival!

Well we got home from the Riverwalk very late. Kids were tired and ready to go to bed and according to NORAD Santa Tracker he was in Michigan! So the kids got to open their bags with a pair of pj's in them and 2 sets of ornaments in them. One from Nana and Papaw and one set from Aunt Jill and Uncle David. Plus they got Holiday DVD'S. They were excited and were so happy about getting new pj's and oddments for the tree! However, it was quickly over and they put on the pj's and headed to bed to go to sleep to await Santa's arrival. As soon as they were tucked neatly in bed, Chris, and I and My Mom and Dad (Larry & Cathy...aka Nana & Papaw) got busy! We became Santa's helpers and finished getting everything wrapped and under the tree for the kids in the morning and putting together their Santa gifts for them while we watched It's a Wonderful Life in Black and White (the only way to watch this movie, my absolute favorite). Soon we had everything sat up. All the kids got black gaming chairs from Grandma & Poppa Pearson as their Santa gifts and they also each got a separate Santa gift. Elijah got his horse with a cowboy hat and boots and a lasso and cowboy clothes. Hannah got that Large Dog Biscuit who also like Elijah's horse was wearing her pink Cowgirl boots and Pink Cowgirl Hat. Ethan got his Tony Hawk Ramp and Tony Hawk Boom Boom Huck Jam Skateboard and Sami her new and beloved Hot pink with white flames eclectic guitar. Plus their Stockings to hold them all over till we got up to open presents. Yeah, 7am came to early for the rest of us who stayed up till 4am making sure everything was wrapped and stuffed even I had to wait for my parents to go to bed so I could wrap the gift we got them to put under the tree. Long night but it was as always worth it.
