I turned on the news tonight and watch live 3 of the American hostages who were freed from Columbia after being held hostage for 5 years arrive at Lackland according to the report. As I watch the plane land Chris pips up and say's thats not Lackland...... That is at Kelly and there is my office off to the side! Anyway, after they got off the plane they got right onto helicopter's to take them to Brook Army Medical Center. Well most who know me well know that my Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibro specialist is at what we locals call the hospital is BAMC! Its really a neat thing to see and know that is happening right here were we live and were we go to see my doctors. I attached the little bit of a posting from CNN to read. The Air Force C-17, carrying the men, arrived at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas at 11:16 p.m. CT (12:16 a.m. Thursday ET).
Marc Gonsalves, Thomas Howes and Keith Stansell were U.S. government contractors who had been captured and held by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia (FARC) since their plane crashed in a remote region of the country in February 2003.
