Ethan & Friends at the Tony Hawk Show!

So Ethan loved the Tony Hawk show as did his friends. Chris said they would stand up and sit down and stand back up again with the "WoW's, Holy Cow's, Did you see that, That is so cool, look how high he is" comments between the boys all evening. There is a shot of the boys with a skater named Phil. He signed Ethan's helmet and gave the boys each free shirts and keychains and posters! He even took Chris's address and phone number because he and Chris talked the whole show thru and said he would send stuff after the tour was done. Phil was with the team last year but something to do with insurance he couldn't skate this year but could tour with them. So that was neat, but anyway he and Chris hit it off and good thing because they got stuff for free which was so super nice. Chris and I however along with thousands of fans were not happy. They sold tickets to the Amptheater charged big money and ended up setting up ONE Ramp in the parking lot! That was it nothing else! No seats, not one thing we had to buy online for the show was given to any of the fans who paid big money. Chris said it looked like they had set up a outdoor event before the real show started inside but guards turned everyone around and said that one ramp is the show in this hot asphalt parking lot! Yeah, not very many happy campers with that one. Plus the last motor guy took a huge fall and was rushed off in a ambulance. So Tony Hawk says thanks for coming and by the way " NO Autographs!" and they all jump in black suburbans and leave before the fans even start moving to leave.... So was it great fun for the kids and Ethan who loves these events and Tony Hawk, Hands down Yes! For the adults and mom's and dad's who paid big money not so much. Chris said so many angry fans were demanding their money back. Which OK, yeah do I want it back, again Yes! But Ethan and his friends had the best time, and were trying to tell me everything at a 100 miles an hour when they walked thru the door tonight when arriving home, so was it worth, Yes it was because our son will never forget his 10th birthday and that as the commercial goes " IS PRICELESS!"
